Co-Founders
Mihir is currently a medical student at Stanford, interested in life sciences innovation and biomedical research. He graduated from UC Berkeley with a degree in Molecular and Cellular Biology (Honors) and a minor in Disability Studies. He co-founded DermAbility to translate existing accessibility guidance and dermatology literature into practical, respectful, and patient-centered resources, supporting patients as they navigate the healthcare system and helping clinics think more intentionally about inclusive care.
Amani graduated from UC Berkeley with a degree in Molecular and Cellular Biology and is currently a medical student at UC San Diego. Through her coursework and clinical experiences, she saw how often patients with disabilities were left out of conversations about their own care, simply because clinics were not built with their needs in mind. She co-founded DermAbility to help close that gap, building resources that make dermatology visits more understandable, more respectful, and more accessible for every patient.
